Installing Wide Plank Pine Flooring

When installing solid wide plank floors over a plywood subfloor the best method is to apply adhesive to the floorboards blind nail the length of the boards with a pneumatic nailer and face nail when you reach the end of a board.

The 3 4 in thick solid plank flooring shown is milled with a tongue and groove. Although this is ideal many wide plank flooring products will not allow for such a wide stagger due to the amount of shorter boards.
